Adriana Velazquez-Ponton is a self-taught illustrator, author, and industry animator with a profound love for visual storytelling and children's media. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Maryland, Adriana first discovered a love for art at a young age through Disney’s iconic library of classics, anime, and comic books. This passion was the driving force behind Adriana earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation from Full Sail University in 2020. Soon thereafter, she began her career as a Junior Animator at Outlook OVFX Studios, quickly advancing to the roles of Lead Animator and Producer.

Alongside her studio work, Adriana embarked on a rewarding journey as a freelance illustrator, contributing to numerous published works, including her own book, “Emmett the Elephant.” Now based in Richmond, VA, she dedicates herself full-time to illustration and studio management. Adriana's primary goal is to create positive, impactful stories through her art and to foster enriching experiences for everyone she collaborates with.

Beyond animation and illustration, Adriana enjoys playing video games, with Portal 2 being her all-time favorite, as well as doodling, cosplaying, and traveling.
